As part of my web and design coursework, I’ve completed a variety of creative projects targeting different audiences and industries. These include a branding and layout concept for a café located in a shopping mall, and a multicultural restaurant design that blends visual elements from various cuisines. I also developed a themed space for a fictional soccer team with a futuristic aesthetic, designed promotional materials for a Louisville, KY car show, and created visuals for National Doughnut Day. Additionally, I crafted a target audience profile and branding approach for a bourbon company, focusing on storytelling and regional identity.

School Projects

Viking Deck Design Project

For this creative design project, I developed a custom deck of playing cards inspired by Viking history and mythology. Each card featured hand-drawn illustrations and symbolic elements reflecting Norse culture, including traditional patterns, weaponry, and mythological figures. The design focused on a strong, bold aesthetic with a cohesive visual style that honored the spirit .

National Doughnut Day Project

For this project, I created a fun and engaging design campaign celebrating National Doughnut Day. The visuals featured bright colors, playful typography, and mouth-watering doughnut illustrations to attract a wide audience. The campaign included promotional materials such as posters, social media graphics, and packaging concepts, all designed to evoke a cheerful, festive vibe around the holiday.

For this imaginative design project, I created a concept for a coffee shop built by squirrels, designed to serve people. The branding and visuals blended woodland charm with playful humor, featuring acorn-inspired decor, natural textures, and whimsical illustrations. The concept emphasized creativity and storytelling, turning the idea of a forest café into a unique, engaging experience for customers.

Accessible Web Page Design – Inspired by Tim Berners-Lee

In this project, I designed a web page with a strong focus on user accessibility, following the principles promoted by Tim Berners-Lee. The layout emphasized inclusive design, featuring clear structure, semantic HTML, high-contrast color schemes, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility. The goal was to create an experience that is usable for all individuals, regardless of ability, aligning with the core values of the open and accessible web.

AI Magazine Article Redesign

My part of a school assignment, I redesigned a magazine article focused on artificial intelligence. The project involved improving the layout, typography, and visual hierarchy to enhance readability and engagement. I used clean, modern design elements to reflect the forward-thinking nature of AI, incorporating relevant imagery, balanced spacing, and clear headings to make complex information more access.

Regent Verda Restaurant Project

Regent Verda was a school project focused on designing a fusion restaurant concept blending the cultures of Oslo, Norway and Madison, Wisconsin. The design combined Scandinavian minimalism with Midwest warmth, featuring a clean, modern aesthetic and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The branding, layout, and visual identity reflected both regions’ culinary and cultural influences.
